The
Beach on Koh Lanta
Over 20 km of the west side of Koh Lanta Yai there are covered by 9
beaches from the north to the south. All beaches have different characters,
some are busier with many resorts, restaurants and bars, others are
quiet and real private but a bit more difficult to access..

Klong Dao Beach
This spectacular
three-kilometer stretch of the white powder sand was the first beach
to be developed. It is the finest white sand beach on
Koh Lanta, and clam and shallow waters make it especially safe for
children. During low tide the beach size expands like a football
field many people joking. This time some play soccer and beach valley
ball. Due to its width, even during peak season, it is never over
crowded, after a short walk you will find a patch without neighbors.
The southern end of the beach has some rocks in the water. A picturesque
fleet of local long tail fishing boats uses the natural rock harbor
as a bases.

Kaw
Kwang Beach
Kaw Kwang Beach or Deer Neck beach is the tiny and never
crowded beach northernmost of Koh Lanta. Just only one km. from
the Saladan Town or the Pier located. The name created from the
landscape when look from the top eye view is like the deer head,
the beach is situated on the curve of the deer neck. It is a tiny
beach with a few resorts located.

Pha Ae Beach or Long Beach
Pha Ae is the longest beach of Koh Lanta with 5 km.
straight golden
color sand beach, just next to Klong Dao Beach. It is shaded by
coconut trees and pine trees along the beach. There are many small
resorts scattering around the area but not so crowed, also many
bars and restaurants on the beach. The beach is a bit steep than
Klong Dao Beach and the water is very clear. Joggling on this beautiful
long beach is the routine of people around there.

Klong
Khong Beach
Three kilometers long beach with powder sand. The shady of coconut
and pine trees reduce the hot weather under the sunny day. There
are many resorts on this beach, mostly is the small family own resort.

Klong
Nin Beach.
Down south to the main road around 15 kilometers from Saladan Town
will found the signed board turn right to the national park, here
is Klong Nin beach. Like almost all beaches on Koh Lanta, Klong
Nin Beach offers tranquil and peaceful atmosphere; its sand is white
and fine. There are many resorts on this beach starting from no
star until to four stars resort. Because of the beach is very long,
the resorts set in the space that make the beach still keep the
privacy and tranquilities.

Ba
Kan Tieng Bay
The tiny bay with fine white sand beach, it offered the private
atmosphere with just only a few resorts. The curve beach surrounding
with high mountain of national park behind make it unique and feel
private. The Pimalai resort & spa, the first five star resort
of Kohl anta located here.

Nui
Bay, Klong jark Bay and Waterfall Beach.
These are three last secluded small beaches before get in to the
National Park area. The road to here is late rite and unpaved, some
part is sudden dip and rise up hill but have beautiful view along
the way. The transport is difficult that make these three beaches
very private and dessert. There are some resorts around these beaches.
If you like real quiet these three is the most suitable place.
